The food was decent, our waiter was nice, but it's much too loud inside. We were a party of 5 adults and a child and we couldn't have a conversation because everyone around us was talking over the lone saxophonist .
Really good experience here Saturday morning. Arrived at about 8:45 on a Saturday morning fully expecting to wait but they sat us right away. Our waitress was really attentive and brought everything out quickly and correctly. The orange juice is super fresh and delicious. I had the migas plate and it was great. My wife had the chorizo skillet with biscuits and she raved about the biscuits.
Food, Atmosphere,Prices...still good. Service was spotty this morning so I'm pulling a star. I was feeling," out for breakfast "on this beautiful Friday morning. Starwood came to mind so I headed north. I was surprised they weren't busier at 8:45 on a Friday morning. Still it took longer than necessary for someone to show up and seat us. While I was waiting,I couldn't help noticing the dirty plate sitting on the hostess stand! That's a first for me,anywhere. As a result my radar was up and the self talk started. Something's amiss. That would have never happened in the other Starwood visits. Is this well oiled machine in decline. Unfortunately after coming here with high 5 star expectations,I was now feeling guarded and hoping not to be disappointed. Same great selections on the menu,same decor and good prices. Unfortunately,the service was off. After telling the waiter we needed more time he did his disappearing act. Finally we ordered. Thank goodness the kitchen is still on cruise control. The food met expectations with an additional fresh orange juice surprise. I would return,however,part of their challenge is competition is getting thick in the area and they're misfiring. I hope they keep it afloat because....I like Starwood. Go! With caution Note: I dropped a star for service and maybe should have done a 3 because of the dirty plate!
We r ally enjoyed this breakfast spot. The food was served very quickly, cooked as ordered and hot. I tried the Mediterranean omelette which had fresh spinach plus olives. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. Hubby reported the pancakes were excellent. Grandgirls also came along and raved on the chicken and waffles. Parking next to the building and near outstanding shopping.
Didn't plan to come in but remembered that this place was here. Walked in and was attended fast by a very friendly man at the front. Order very fast and of course cawfeee came even faster which is AMAZING!!! Thank you so much to our waiter Armando as he was nothing but attentive and gave us an excellent service. Food was fantastic.
They were quick to seat us. Our waitress was great and very attentive. The meal was good. Fresh orange juice was excellent. Their lattes are tiny for the price. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Manager was friendly and checking on everyone.
I really enjoyed the gluten free French toast I had here! It's hard to find good GF options! The OJ was fresh and the whipped butter was sooo much better than the standard packaged kind. I would've liked to see the restroom cleaner, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. It was really busy when we went on a Sunday but we didn't wait overly long for a table and the service was still quick and our food came out HOT, which I appreciate. Our waiter was very helpful.
Amazing service and quickly delivered, tasty food! We will definitely be making Starwood a regular breakfast restaurant on our rotation. The eggs were perfectly soft scrambled and the sweet tea was the best freshly brewed tea I've had in DFW.
